Mental Health & Wellbeing Expo

The crew at the ACT Recovery College are super excited to be participating in the 2019 Mental Health & Wellbeing Expo tomorrow.

DATE: Thursday 10 October 2019 - World Mental Health Day!

TIME: 11:00 am - 2:00 pm

WHERE: Garema Place (Petrie Plaza and City Walk, Civic).

The Mental Health & Wellbeing Expo is an integral part of Mental Health Month in the ACT.

This free public event aims to bring the ACT and surrounding communities together to celebrate positive wellbeing and learn more about mental health services available in the region. Importantly, the Expo aims to encourage people to seek help early to help reduce the impact of mental illness of an individual's life.

Come along to see over 80 local organisations in a fun market-day atmosphere with interactive activities, sausage sizzle and live music.

Be sure to stop past and see us on stand 18 next to MHCC and North Belconnen Day Service. We would love for you to join in on some mindful colouring, pick up one of our free reusable straws, enter our Sour Worms guessing competition and line up to sport a temporary tattoo... But most importantly, with the focus for this years Expo around 'Conversation and Connection', just pop by to say hi!!
