Movement is Medicine goes City2Surf

The ACT Recovery College's Co-Developer and Facilitator of the course Movement Is Medicine, Chris Corcoran ran in the City2Surf this past Sunday in Sydney.

Chris shared with the College that: 'This was my first running event since my bilateral (both), total hip replacement surgery in 2015.  I also ran with a calf strain, which made it very painful to run up hills, forcing me to walk those sections.  Funnily enough, I also lost 9 minutes queuing up for a toilet break after about 3 kilometres in, so overall, I'm really quite happy with my finish time'

The Staff at the College would like to take the opportunity to congratulate Chris on his outstanding achievements in completing the City2Surf with a finish time of 1:46:45.
